Amelia: 2 Months

It's almost month three, but this post was written at 2 months and the photos were taken at about 2 months, 1 week.  :)

Size: At her 2 month well-check, Amelia was 13 lbs, 1 oz and 24.25 in, which is the 93rd percentile for height! She can squeeze into 0-3 month clothing but is also wearing some 3-6. She's up to size 2 diapers (we clearly still haven't started cloth...).

Health: Millie had her first little bout of sickness at 7 weeks. She had a fever so we took a trip to the doctor, and after a urine sample and blood test, were told she was okay and that it was just a virus. After a few days of extreme unhappiness she was back to normal.

Sleep: Millie is a great little sleeper so far! This month she has been taking (most) naps in her crib, with the exception of when we are out running errands or dozing in my arms in the mornings. She typically takes little cat naps in the morning and then takes a long afternoon nap for about 3 hours. For a couple weeks she was sleeping through the night (from about 7:30 or 8pm to 5:30 or 6am), but the past few days she's woken up once. We introduced a paci a couple weeks ago, and she loves it! I've been putting her down at night drowsy with her paci, and she falls right asleep most nights.

Diet: The spitting up has decreased dramatically in the last two weeks! Amelia eats every couple hours when she's awake. She probably nurses about 7-9 times a day.

Postpartum: At the end of month 1 I was feeling fantastic, then just after 6 weeks postpartum I started having some severe pain that I'm still dealing with. Postpartum hair loss is in full swing!

Milestones: I know this goes without saying, but Millie has changed SO MUCH! She loves watching us make faces and flashes her cute smile at us all the time, especially right after waking up. I absolutely love it! She loves the play mat now and can spend a good chunk of time looking at the animals above her. She tolerates tummy time for a few minutes at a time and is getting really good at holding her head up.

P.S. Here's little Nora back at 2 months. I hardly remember her ever being so small!
