Our Crib

We are back from our trip to Virginia to see Matt's family! We had such a wonderful week spending time with the entire family, and we got to see some of our friends also. I'll recap more of our trip later this week.

While we were there, Matt's parents bought our crib and changing table! The Pottery Barn Kids crib is actually the one we had spotted online that was backordered for a couple months. We found it in the store and were able to buy the floor model of both the crib and changing table.

You'll have to excuse our self-timed photo. I really wanted a picture of us together after we had assembled the crib. After about 10 tries, this is the best we could get!

I've been making a little progress on nursery decor. We made a trip to IKEA where I picked up curtains, a couple small shelves, and some frames. I'm excited to share the rest of the pictures with you, but for now, here is a sneak peek of the crib and changing table.

Nancy and Jerry, thank you so much for the nursery furniture! They fit perfectly in Baby A's nursery, and we love how it's beginning to look.

Next, we'll be on the hunt for a crib mattress and a rocker/glider.
Do you have any recommendations?

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 weeks, 5 days
Baby Size: 1.5 pounds and 13.5 inches long. (That's a quarter pound and an inch bigger than last week!)
Total weight gain: 15 pounds
Maternity clothes? Still a mix.
Stretch marks? No, but my tummy has been pretty itchy lately.
Sleep: Some nights I've had a hard time getting comfortable. I'm so glad we got that body pillow a couple months ago!
Best moment(s) this week: Lots of time cooking and trying new recipes and date night out at a local Mexican restaurant.
Miss Anything? Sushi.
Movement: Friday morning I felt hiccups for the first time!
Food cravings: Anything with a lot of flavor. Bland foods sound awful right now.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not a thing!
Gender: Girl :)
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks contractions and a growing belly!
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Mood: I've been really eager to start getting the nursery ready. We found a couple of cribs we liked that were out of stock, but we have a different one on the radar now.
Looking forward to: Another road trip next week! This one will be shorter though. We're heading to Virginia for a few days to see Matt's family!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
We'll be staying inside as much as possible since it's supposed to be 106 degrees today!
